- AIDS Walk! Thanks to everyone who went (Morgan, Kylie, Meagan C., Alicia C., Sarah, Haven, Kassandra, Violet, Luci, Russell, and Olivia), we're planning on doing stuff like this a lot more, we have the bus system to Seattle pretty much down now...

-Talked about Board Meeting on 9/30/09. Our question was about the LGBTQ 'issue' and the Day of Silence
- Quick discussion over what makes us really angry
- Talked about Film festival October 10th and 11th, more discussing via Facebook when the time comes around, though
- Work PARTY! Made a lot of signs, bracelets, headbands, necklaces, etc; for R-71 awareness! Thanks for working hard everybody! If you weren't at the meeting, stop by Goldhammer's classroom (room 303) and get a few flyers to handout to whoever WANTS them--if you see any on the ground PICK THEM UP.

GSA Meeting #3--9/24/09
- Name Circle (the freshman turnout was GREAT!)
- Explained what GSA was about (refer to previous post to find out what this is...)
- Discussed the 'happening' in Potraz's class
- Talked about Laramie Project--http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=awTx8iBm4u8
- Went over details of the AIDS Walk (9/26/09) and decided to plan it all over Facebook (INVITE ALL OF YOUR FRIENDS TO THE GROUP!)
- R-71 Discussion; history of the 'Everything but marriage'-law, how to spread the word around our school and community about R-71 (cards, necklaces, shirts, hats, buttons, stickers, etc;)
Remember to dress up in something rainbow or GSA-related every Thursday! Even if you aren't able to attend the meeting! :D

GSA Meeting #2 (9/17/09)
-What is GSA (Welcoming, dedicated to social betterment, safe "zone", place to make friends, SNAX, peace, equality, fun, chaos, education, acceptance, tolerance, FREE RIBBONS!)
- More introductions (Of our beloved officer, Morgan Myers--as well as a few graduates, James, Arie, Amy, Chris, and Sara)
- Fundraisers (Carwash (bikinis optional)--but really, a serious carwash, Bake sale (rainbow food!).
- Aids Walk (the officers will do more research on this one)
- R-71 (we want non-officers, but officers also, to look this one up. Come to the next meeting ready to talk about it)

- Went over the purpose of GSA (to raise awareness of gay rights, to establish a safe haven for anyone who is being harassed by non-supporters/or anybody else)
- Introduced the officers (Kylie Repp, Sarah Desroche, Russell Millard and Olivia Millard--unfortunately Morgan Myers wasn't there)
- Went around in a circle and said our name, grade, and why we are in GSA
